Eden and Sera are finally hitting it off now that Eden is on two legs and can throw a ball. They keep eachother entertained for a full half hour a day going back and forth with a squeaky ball. They are getting to be pretty good. The following video clips show the first day this occurred.
This week, "ball"--correction--"a ball" has been a theme. Everything seems to be "a ball." I am sure that Sean or I-- inocent, well to do parents that we are, replied to Eden's pointing at a ball saying, "yea, that's 'a ball.'" The better answer would have simply been, "ball." Now we are confused because Eden points to apples saying, "a ball" which sounds a lot like "apple." We don't know if she has learned the word "apple" or if she thinks an apple is "a ball." Incidentally, plums, oranges, pumpkins, and ballons are all "a ball" which could mean that she thinks all round fruits are either "apples" or "balls"...we aren't sure but have decided to speak generally of these things because either would be correct in an abstract sort of way. It probably confuses her more that we have a small pumpkin in the house the size of Sera's ball. It's so funny trying to figure it all out.
