How is it possible for a cold to be so cute?

Eden is down with a little cold (two days post flu shot booster) but she woke up giggling anyway. This morn Eden found the aspirator. For those of you who aren't familiar, an aspirator is a snot bulb or booger sucker. She was so stuffy last night I was required to put it to good use. So there she was, shaking her little bottom to the Moose Tunes DVD I played so I could get my tea. The DVD features real scenes of moose in the wild set to fun moosey songs. There are images of moose with calves suckling in meadows, bull moose plunging through rivers, and bullwinkle look-a-likes eating wet greenery from ponds in front of the Tetons. It's truely a great video gift from Grandma Jill. I smiled when I saw what she was doing with the aspirator. She was putting the tip of it to the mooses' noses on the screen and saying, "BOOG." She was getting the boogers out of the mooses' noses! Hilarious!!! Let's just say, what joy sprang up in me was contagious. My smile tumbled into laughter and Eden started laughing too. The noises between us made Sera tilt her head and wonder, "so when did they start taking high dose cold medicine?" =)
