Auntie Mellie having a good long laugh with Eden.

Eden has a profound interest in technology. Not only does she always want to sit on my lap when I am at the laptop...now she wants to take part in Mels computer business. A smart Aunt, Mel packs her laptop away when she is not using it; earpods, cords, ipod--they each have a neat little home in her laptop bag. But, when Mel is in action, Eden wants to be a part of it. Mel has creative, non-negating responses for Eden's probing and proding like, "do you have a permit for that?" Another favorite, "I'm going to need to see your license before you touch that." You get the idea...it is hysterical to me. I aspire to Mel's creativity. Sean and I are real easy going when it comes to exploring our family lap top as long as we are there to watch her. She even popped the "G" & the "H" off of our keyboard one time (if this happens to you--rest assured they snap back in place easily).

One of our ideas to solve the conundrum of baby fingers typing keys and functions that do not aid in the work at hand is to give her a computer-like object to busy herself with. This is Eden with our lable maker.

In this picture Eden asked Mel how to spell, "convivial" and "cooperative."
